NBC Olympics and Samsung want you to feel like you are in Rio this August. Samsung Gear VR users will be able to view exclusive coverage of the 2016 Rio Olympics through the new NBC Sports app.

You won’t want to miss out on more than 100 hours of VR programming and 360 –degree storytelling, which include the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, the men’s basketball final, gymnastics, track and field, beach volleyball, diving, boxing and fencing, in addition to highlight packages of these sports. Only those with Samsung Galaxy smartphones compatible with Gear VR will be able to access the VR content section of the NBC Sports app. Virtual reality programming will available one day after competition from Aug. 6 through Aug. 22, the day after the Olympics conclude.
